i don't know anything about this show other than it's about girls, and the one main girl is apparently naked all the time. but judging from every commercial i've seen from it, i can't imagine myself every enjoying a second of it.

Sounds like I could imagine myself enjoying at least a few seconds of it.

I've watched the first 4 episodes and i still don't know if I like it, im pretty sure it is exactly what most girls life's are like, and while that can be interesting, it is also mentally exhausting watching the drama

Parenthood is one of the best shows on network TV. Another great season. Not ashamed to admit it makes me cry on a semi-frequent basis.

My wife enjoys it also...she was weepy during the last few episodes. It's on my long queue of shows to watch....but will it get renewed?

Not to make a separate post, but there has been some Dexter casting news. Charlotte Rampling will play "a neuro-psychiatrist who specializes in working with young psychopaths and profiling criminals in unorthodox ways."
Spoiler:
Harrison?

Also, Sean Patrick Flanery will play a private investigator of some sort.

The producers want this, the eighth season, to be the last....but Showtime hasn't said anything yet.

The final episodes of X-Play and Attack of the Show aired yesterday.

Attack of the Show was incredibly lame, but X-Play was very satisfying imo.

The Chris Hardwick hosted flashback episodes were a better send-off than the actual last episode.

I did. Surprised no one else is talking about it. I found it a little anti-climactic, just like the season 1 finale. They seem to start out great and then run out of steam/ideas.

Seriously? I'll be glad to write a quick recap, but don't want to ruin it if you're joking. ;)

Girls is like a sitcom to me. People getting into unrealistic shenanigans and acting abhorrent with no apparent consequences. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a little like Seinfeld for annoying hipsters.

Stuck to the end of "Last Resort" and really glad they gave it a proper somewhat closed ending and did not leave it on a open note like they did with "V" a couple of years back.

I may be the only one, but I've actually enjoyed 1600 Penn so far. I don't think it has a long life in it's future, but I've found it to be good.

I've either heard a couple of people say that or just you multiple times, but it makes me want to try it again, even though I hated what I saw of the one episode.

This is only the second time I stated it, so either multiple means 2 or you heard others state it.
