I honestly forget what yard the 9ers were on with that last play, but within 5 yards the CB can basically impose their will on a WR, so if it was within 5 yards than Defensive holding wouldn't matter.

I don't know why I'm defending this because my team lost, but I guess I just didn't see the travesty on that last play like everyone else did. Now the helmet to helmet should have been called. Again though, can't do anything about it. Don't dig that big of a whole in the first place to put yourself in that position. That's what I'm angry at my team about.

LOS was the 5 and the hold took place into the end zone.

Right. Even when presented with facts supporting the opposite.

People are actually still saying someone in the league cut the power because they didn't want the ravens to win because the power can't just go off during a game.

The steelers are the winningest team in the nfl. Period. It'll be another 15 years before they win another one but its cool I'm only 21 and by that time I can share it with my kid(s)

3 superbowl appearances in 7 years, or whatever the number is - in this current parity league - no one can downplay that. Ask your friend to come back when the Ravens have done that - including 2 knockouts of the Steelers, on the way to those superbowls.

Otherwise, both franchises are fairly similar, very physical and usually good on defense etc. That's what makes the rivalry so good.

Watching ESPN the last 2 days doing their picks for next year and rankings, almost every one of them have all of the sudden ranked Flacco as the top QB in the NFL right now. Just because he won the Superbowl does not mean he is the best quartback out there. And just like in every other sport, they're all picking the Ravens as the odds on favorites to win next year. Thats all they do is pick the team that just won, and predict they'll win again. So stupid.
