Just a bad ~30 second span. Other than that, good game and a good use of the timeout by Bylsma.

I've time distribution was fantastic. Vitale lowest at 10:34. Need to get Bortuzzo and Despres out on the apK though assuming Despres isn't in the box :)

Yeah, Fleury should get rewarded for this game. He looked like Blake Lively at an ugly convention tonight...offered a free full-frontal lobotomy to Matt Martin in alone on him, faced a week's worth of power plays in the second period, he was stellar with a capital STAR...

This is the first game that I've watched since the Ottawa game last Sunday and this team looked so much different than the first 5 games of the year -- better passes ('cept for Geno and his blind passes again), better puckhandling, and better defense. Really good win tonight.

Fleury was great. I love our goaltending right now.

It was nice to see Sutter get a goal, but I'm not going to get too worked up over his scoring totals.
Just not realistic to expect Staal-level numbers out of him. He's a completely solid 3rd center, which is enough.

My #1 star of the game is my ice pack.

Lately, games with the Isles have given me me splitting headaches.

I love this form of penguins hockey. Emphasize the forward staying back and helping the D. Adjusting the breakout for what the opponent is doing and just feeding off the other teams mistakes.

Great game outside of 30 sloppy seconds. Wait...

Good win. Good have done without some of the bad penalties and that 30 second lapse in defense, but otherwise pretty close to a solid effort. The Isles are going to be competing for a playoff spot this year. They have a lot of skill and speed.

WIN WIN WIN yet again. Great road performance against the Isles who humiliated them a week or so ago and have seemingly woke the team and coaching staff up. Nothing but thumb's up from me.

Heresy time: I wouldn't mind Despres sitting for a game, to get the message about disciplined play across.
Too many freakin dumb penalties.

Sitting him to appease Lovejooy's ego is quite another thing, however.
