The KP thread has four pages, this one has 26 so far... in case you hadn't noticed.

Thread size? I'd have agreed if you had said "head size"...

;)

He was "being made fun of" (appropriately)... for calling a four page thread "wildly popular". The size of the thread, apart from Sloppy's characterization, is irrelevant.

Jesus EPT, its A JOKE. The Pittsnogle thread is probably more than 50 percent me posting Pittsnogle pics AS A JOKE. I don't actually view it as "wildly popular"; I think its something I post in because its amusing to me and maybe 5 other people ("FAN BOIZZZZZZZZZZ"). EPT, I have to wonder how you go through life without constantly manufacturing arguments and pissing contests over imagined claims and slights. It must be absolutely exhausting to be you, EPT.

Back when I worked for BB&B, I was pulling merchandise out of the stock room for a clearance event, and I came across a set of 1000 thread count sheets eligible for further mark downs. After changing the price, and using my employee discount, the final cost ended up being like $22 for the set. I almost felt bad about buying them.

Indeed it was. I think the set originally sold for like $280.

Two last bits, and then I'll stop derailing the thread...
-I might have been known to hide clearance stuff around the store (in wall fixtures, under display beds, etc) until it showed up on the aged merchandise report, and I could mark it down to up to 75% off and then buy it.
-it's not really worth going any higher than 300 thread count. The cost will outweigh the benefits. Unless you went with the generic sets of 400 or 600 tc, but only if they were single ply yarn.

In relation to this thread, bylsma is a fine coach... Better than anyone we could get to replace him at this point. Also, Corey Perry is good, but he has about as much to do with the pens as 1000 thread count sheets
