I have the same problem, NPV. Only have NHL Network, Center Ice, and NBC. I lose all NBCSN games.

I miss 11 games by not having NBCSN. So annoyed.

Are you sure that is correct? Over half of the Penguins games will be nationally televised? The rest of the league is getting screwed if that's the case.

I saw there were 29 games that would be nationally televised for the Pens this year. Does this include the games that aren't nationally televised (for Philly area fans)?

Either way, there's absolutely no way I am paying for Center Ice this year, I don't think. My proximity to Philly does come in handy in times like these.

There is a lot of hockey being shown nationally on NBCSN and NHL Network. The Flyers have 27 or so games, all but 2 or 3 games in March are national.

60% of Pens games will be blacked out on CenterIce and GameCenter. Buyer beware. Here are the non-national games as of today, last year games were added to NHL Network unscheduled and then black out.

So I had intended to buy Gamecenter Live this year, but holy cow, there's a lot of games that are going to be blacked out. My count was 25 games I won't be able to see (that's NBCSN and NHLN) and 4 more I'd have to watch over-the-air (NBC) (which is mostly fine, although I count on watching some of these at work... far, far easier on Gamecenter). I was all set to go, but that's just INSANE.

As a sidenote, I could have sworn that Gamecenter Live was an app on Samsung TVs last year, but I don't see it this year at all. Have I just gone crazy or did they stop supporting Samsungs?

Really?? I've been a long time subscriber to Center Ice on Direct TV and I called today and they said it was 14.99 for 4 months.....

You may have to be a little "persistent" with them. When DirectTV this year was offering NFL Sunday Ticket for free to new subscribers and I've been with them since they started service ages ago, I had to kind of raise a little hell to get it for free this year(and agree to extend my contract for 2 years).
For what Sunday Ticket costs, I had no problem with it and it's not like I'd ever cancel DirectTV where I live.

DirecTV is telling me $14.99/month for 4 months or one time payment of $59.96. I was on the phone for 15 minutes, long time subscriber, etc. Rep could not find any $19.99 deal. Was that total package??? Also, is NBC carrying playoff games through their channels like last year? Didn't really need DirecTV Center Ice for the playoffs with NBC coverage.

My billing rep on DTV said the same. No playoffs on Center Ice. Will need to upgrade to NBCSN, but they were really good last year on DTV about using all of their "alternate" channels so that we got all the Pens games.

I don't understand why directv wants 60 and gamecenter and others 50. I mean, whatever, but then considering some people have problems with getting nhl network, this isn't as smooth as it should be.

Does anyone using Apple TV or Roku experience the issue directly after the game where you cannot begin a stream until later? With the PS3, I can't watch for the initial hour or so after the game. Was wondering if this is a system wide thing. (I realize you can watch using a computer or iPad right away)

I have had no problem this season watching games with Apple TV (2nd generation-jailbroken).

I have been getting the games as they start without any issues using SportsDevil or Navi-X.

You can pay $5 extra dollars for gamecenter premium that gets you NBC games. Anyone know if thats NBC only or NBC Sports as well?
