Balotelli with 2 goals in his debut, looked great with Niang & El Sharaawy

I'm irritated about the timing/viewing options for the US qualifier today. First, that new BeIN Sport, which I don't get, has the rights to all away qualifiers. No big deal, I thought, I can find a crappy online stream and hook it up to the TV. Now I find out the game is at 4:00 PM, meaning that I'll be in class/driving home during the whole game. I suppose the Hondurans are trying to take advantage of the heat earlier in the day, but this whole situation stinks for US fans.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I can see highlights of the US game during halftime of the ESPN broadcast of the Mexico game tonight.

Can't help but laugh at all the consternation over the supposed danger the USMNT faces in San Pedro Sula; as if wandering around major US metro areas is like being swaddled in bubble wrap by comparison. It isn't Helmand Province, guys.

San Pedro Sula is probably safer than Soldier Field.

I'm a big LFC fan, but I'm trying to find an MLS team to support this year. I consider myself a casual Sounders fan, but I really want to get into this year. Any MLS fans out there?

I also want to get into it this year, and I lean towards the Timbers. That puts us at odds, so maybe we can try to encourage each other to keep up. I'm really looking for a good guide on how to best stay on top of the MLS for those who reside in Pittsburgh PA.

I know that the first thing that I'm going to do is order MLS direct kick on Directv.... My allegiance is open to any team not named NY Red bulls

I'm struggling to get into MLS although I really enjoyed the playoffs this year. I think it's awesome what is happening in Seattle and Portland. I would actually love to see a game over there. Being an Everton fan, I kept tabs on Tim Cahill at Red Bull, and I think Tim Howard will end up there in a few years, but I can never just like a NY team. Same with DC, New England and Philly. Columbus is closest I guess. Not feeling it, though.

Go to Pittsburgh Riverhound games and hook up with the folks there.

I'm honestly starting to feel sorry for the USMNT players. They don't deserve to be subject to the tactical ineptitude Klinsmann is showing. The team was completely overrun in the midfield for the first 60 minutes. It should have taken him about 10 to adjust, but he couldn't because of his selections (Johnson, Altidore and Dempsey on the pitch at the same time).

Great to see El Tri held in Azteca, but that's just more evidence that this Hex will be difficult. Klinsmann needs to step it up.

I've never been, but Honduras has the highest homicide rate in the world. And the second highest isn't close.

Do it. It's a lot of fun, especially if you are with the Steel Army. Only one week left to buy.

MLS games were fun to attend. I went to a couple MLS games in DC while I was in high school and got to be on the pitch a few times. I had always wished to play on a pitch that was kept amazingly well like that.

Really disappointed that ManU is winning again. The title race is pretty much over now. I guess the competition for European spots and relegation will be somewhat interesting.

The title races in all major European leagues are more or less decided. Big fun.

I'd rather Man U win than Man City.

I hope Aston Villa go down.

Have hardly followed the top flight, but Blackburn is making a strong push back to promotion again. Up to 6th, I think they were in 11th or even 13th at one point.
