Firemarshall Bill?
Jim Carey.
I'm thinking him as the Caps potential young franchise that the Pens destroyed in the playoffs one year. Pretty much ended his Caps career unless I'm mistaking him for someone else.
He actually won the Vezina in 95-96 with the Caps as a result of a monster regular season. Got destroyed by the Pens in the playoffs that year. From then on out, it was basically the Kolzig show.

If memory serves me correctly Eddie Johnson figured out that he he was very slow pipe to pipe, so the Pens started playing a lot behind the net with movement and did a lot wrap arounds or the pass equivalent and once he was exposed it was over.

So he did a reverse Flacco.

Lemieux and Jagr also exposed Carey's weak glove hand. Anything high in the corner was a sure-goal. The rest of the league caught onto this too.

I was shocked at the "sparse" crowd for the pre game skate too. I guess some fans are over the caps rivalry.

this did leave some of us with leg room.
