What about Engell? Martin seemed fine so I would guess that is just saving his legs since he played so much. There was just an article talking about how much improvement Morrow has shown defensively - with something like +7 in his last 7 games or something.
i totally read that as "shaving his legs" and got really confused

just kidding. I dont have a source. But I thought I would just get that in first.
My sources (me) confirm... (j/k) I guess Reese hasn't impressed anyone and its time to see what the kid can do. I would guess if he was offered in a trade thoes other teams would want to see the kid in a NHL level game. Heard he was struggling in his defensive coverage in WBS.

Rushing Morrow a little bit...
Where is Alain Nasreddine to fill in when you need him?

He's only played 2 bloody games. Of course he hasn't "impressed" anyone. Need a few more than 2 games.

Someone said Despres got hurt at the end of the game. Our depth on D went from:
Letang
Orpik
Martin
Niskanen
Engelland
Bortuzzo
Strait
Lovejoy
Despres
Reese
Morrow
Dumoulin
Sneep
Samuelsson
to:
Orpik
Martin
Engelland
Bortuzzo
Reese
Morrow
Dumoulin
Samuelsson
Grant
Mormina
Wild
Eaton?

He was here for "insurance" but I think it was more of what they did with Pouliot this week. Let him sit in on meetings and spend a day with the big club.

What a rollercoaster week for Morrow. Let us hope and pray that he has the mental toughness to overcome the shock and disappointment and does not suffer any long-term psychological damage, thus becoming yet another victim of the ineptitude of this fanchise's front office.

I hope Eaton gets a shot to play, always liked him; he can't be that bad, right?

again, we can't call up Eaton. he signed an AHL contract with the WBS Pens. We do not own his rights. He is currently a NHL UFA

If needed (really reaching), the parent club could simply sign him to a 2-way deal, correct?

We could, but to list him on our depth chart is incorrect.
