Yeah the problem is not Bylsma, the problem is RS. Bylsma cannot turn turds into gold. RS spent his entire tenure drafting defensemen, that is not Bylsma's fault.

I don't really fault Shero at this point, either. His main goal is to get as many puck-moving defensemen as possible. We have the top two players in the world, get them that puck. Get it to them quick and flat. With the current glutton of these types of players in the system, some will be on the trading block at some point. And look at what he can turn a mediocre puck mover into - Neal and Niskanen.

It could work with TK on Malkin's line for a few games,but on long run it wont.. Boych is a decent player,just not a scorer.
Third line role is probably the best for him right now.

It could also be that GMRS weighed the Pens development history and found that the Pens have had a lot more success developing defensemen than they forwards or goalies. He may simply be playing to their strength.

You're probably right but everyone stinks at even strength this year, even guys that don't actually stink. I'm not really sure what's what yet with this team.

Adams turns 36 in April, so I assume he'll not be re-signed. I wouldn't mind keeping him around, though.

Pens are heading toward the danger zone with ageing wingers. Adams turns 36 this year, Cooke turns 35, and Dupuis & Kunitz both turn 34.

They need to say goodbye to Adams and probably Cooke next year. If BB can hack it on Crosby's line and they can pick up another winger, shift Dupuis to the 3rd line.
