I dont think Cooke did it on purpose. But if it was us people would be mad.
I have no problem with Neil at the end of the game, that is hockey and we see it all the time. Ho hum, just used to it by now.
The 10 was either for Cooke throwing Neils stick or just to get him off the ice to end the game. I dont like that it come to that in hockey if you have to kick someone out to protect them, but again its how hockey rolls, so be it, end of the game and Ill move on.

Boychuk looked like a grinder with hands on that third line. Maybe we see the pieces coming down to where they should be?
Agree 10x!

Cooke on that line is far from ideal. There will be some sort of trade rather sooner than later.

I'd think Bennet gets the shot before a trade is made

I think I'd rather go with a proven winger, especially since Bennett still seems to be recovering from his wrist injury.

I kind of like how the hatred for Cookie diverts the opposition's attention from Geno and the Real Deal. Sid has Kunitz to do rough stuff on his line, and Geno needs someone like that too. All the guys tried there so far were either too slow, too soft, or without clue. I wonder though if Cookie could sustain the minutes and the intensity required... Yes! A real top 6 winger would be the best option, but given what we have at hand, I do feel good about Cookie's chances to prove being useful in the role, at least for some time.
