That sixers team that lost in the finals is the last NBA squad I really cared about.

I stopped watching after they stopped playing D. So its been quite awhile.

The last team I actively rooted for was that Mike Bibby/Webber/Divac Sacramento kings team that could never get past the Shaq/Kobe lakers. I was also into that Pistons team that won the championship...but not until they were in the finals.

But I love the Warriors new jerseys. From a marketing standpoint it is a fantastic shrewd move that will probably be extremely successful. These will probably sell better than the tank tops would. It will be interesting to see the numbers after they are released to see if there is any significant change. Also can't wait to talk about this in class tomorrow.

also, people that are apprehensive to wear a tank top in public are likely (at least they should be) apprehensive to wear a form fitting t shirt

I like them. I think they will sell better to a wider audience than the tank tops. Now, there are no easy ways to sell athletic gear to those already self conscientious about their look, but for people like myself that don't like clothes that hang (as I feel the NBA Tank Top jerseys seem to do) they are more likely to get purchases from. It also allows for t-shirts with the logo and player name (like hockey does) to become more acceptable to wear. While the NBA does sell these types of shirts, I have honestly never seen one in public when I was in either Cleveland or DC. But I did see shirts for other teams in the areas. It seems to me that tank tops don't ever seem to be worn out in public, but the casual t-shirt will. But this is all just off my observation and without any data I could be completely wrong. But I think this is a nice step to try and get a product that will have more appeal than the tank top.

The judges are completely ruining the slam dunk contest. All 10s should be reserved for some of the most ridiculous dunks of all time. They gave 2 of the first 3 dunkers perfect scores. Really?

My thoughts exactly. If someone were to actually do something sweet, it's getting the same grade as Ross's lame behind the back dunk that took 11 tries. That competition sucked all around.

I just read what PER is, sounds like a stupid stat. Give me straight PPG.

I like PER. It's obviously far from perfect and overly weights offensive production (severely negatively punishing "defensive" players) but it does a nice job as a combined statistic measure
