What a whiny, spoiled, brat of a loser those parents raised. I hope they are proud to have given birth to such a prima-donna punk. This is not funny, cool, neat or any other positive adjective you can think of. This has to be about as selfish and unsportsmanlike as one could be.
I thought I read somewhere it was a year long battle (maybe that article?) and he finally snapped. Not a big fan on scoring on his own team, but if talked with his teammates and they were cool with it then it works.
Year long battles with coaches can be a problem and apparently they did not handle the team very well. This is a calamity all around, but I would have loved to do something similar when I was in high school to my one coach.
I'm tired of coaches who play that card with no consequences. Well, this brave act of this kid, who is a modern day Patrick Henry, will ensure that this coach's shennanigans get SCRUTINIZED and he pays for his impudence. Maybe someday he will grow up and realize that he's coaching the WHOLE TEAM and not just the kids of the losers in his precious inner circle.
