cause he was arrogant about his talent would be my guess. personally I like Jordan's arrogance, it adds to his legend that he walk the talk.

I don't know that I'd describe him as arrogant. I mean, he certainly knew how good he was. But his bad side was how badly he'd treat others sometimes, especially teammates. He was brutal on some of them.

Egotistical? Sure, you could say he took away someone's shot at AA ball, but that foray had a lot to do with his father. It's not like struggling to hit a curve in minor league ball did a lot to stroke his ego.

lol, I fully believe that he believed that because he was the best player in basketball, he would be able to play baseball at a similar level. I love Jordan, I watched WGN religiously as a younger lad, but I don't overlook his other qualities.

Most athletes think they can excel in most things. Not really a bad quality. However, don't think that was the reason he went to baseball.

By all accounts Jordan was a jag. Shad isnt just making things up here. But he was a winner and maybe the most competetive ball player ever. Probably the best as well.

Quiet and unassuming off the pitch. One of the reasons why he's my favorite soccer player (outside of his excellent skills of course).

As for MJ, yeah he was arrogant but I never cared. With the talent he had and the competitive nature he possessed as a result he had a right to be arrogant.
