I think the hardest thing for a stout with a chocolate flavor is getting the right chocolate flavor...and then not overdoing it. This is about as perfect as you can get. I think the oats balance out the chocolate/coffee flavors and make it infinitely drinkable...even at 8.3%.
Going to enjoy the other 2 tonight.
For having an 8%+ ABV and doing the right amount of chocolate, Founders Breakfast nails it. Had it down at Roland's a few weeks ago on tap. Young's Double Chocolate Stout is another solid choice. I've only seen this on tap and in the can, but never in a bottle.
