J.J. Moore is my Melichar of Pitt BB. I hate him.

jj moore is easily up there in terms of most disliked pitt player of all time. all time.

greg williams and aaron berry are up there too.

Zanna has reached double figures in scoring just 3 of the 14 conference games. Rebounding only twice. I've never seen such a small 6'9" player. This guy is an upperclassman getting 25 minutes a game, and is just a void on offense and on the defensive glass at the moment.

I was just saying last night, this team is not tough. Adams is starting to show some toughness, getting stronger underneath, but everyone else, when they go up underneath for a shot, they are fading back, they have no power behind their shot, it's like they are scared.

Guys like Troutman and Blair were no bigger than these guys, but they were tough. And that is why they were successful.

Haters gonna hate. The pussification of the team is clearly in preparation for the transition to the ACC next season. Dixon is a visionary, the likes of which these times have never seen.

Haha, problem is that he's not loading up on players that can run to the corner and throw up a three.

Pitt found a team more their speed in St. John's today.

Well, they beat a bubble team by 16 on the road, can't really complain much.

Quite honestly, I thought Georgetown was terrible when Pitt played them. I haven't seen them since that night, but they didn't impress me at all.

They're going to trick some idiot into predicting the Hoyas to make a deep tourney run before they lose by 20 in round 2.

Could someone please poke Pitt with a stick and get them going for the 2nd half?

This time Pitt decides to shut down Villanova's last-second play. 4 years too late, but Dixon learns.

Doubtful. Pitt's only good win was against a horrendous Georgetown team.

ESPN Gameday showed the top 10 Big East moments. 3 were Pitt losses from the Dixon/Howland era. That about sums it up, really. They did show Jerome Lane though.

Seems like they've rebounded from the Marquette/ND disasters. Would like to see a decent run out of them in the Big East tourney... not gonna be thrilled if they drop a deuce. Looks like Louisville is going to win, so I believe Pitt gets a double bye.

Has Pitt ever won a game after getting a double bye?

You can't negate what Howland and Dixon have done for this program though.

They've totally transformed them into a perennial power (even with the disappointing NCAA tourney appearances).

They put them on the map big time.

They are very frustrating to watch come tourney time sometimes but still...

Pitt finished the regular season #17 in the AP and #19 in the coaches.

Georgetown finished #5 in both.

Not bad for a team that won't sniff the tourney and another team that is absolutely horrendous.
