I'm just saying Fleury didn't deserve the start IMO. Even though he was overused last season from carrying the team. He did had a good regular season.
Not me. After signing Vokoun then telling everyone "but Fleury's still our #1" it would've send some crazy mixed signals to start Vokoun over Fleury in the opener. Bylsma decided to show confidence in Fleury by going with him to kick things off.

As a Pens fan, I hope Fleury is on the bench for this one. And all the other ones.

Vokoun's worst game as a Pen so far.

Vokoun could not handle the puck today, or move around well. He was so slow back and forth in the net, and getting back to the net after playing the puck.

Still have no clue why they didn't blow a whistle on the 5th (?) goal.

He certainly shat the bed tonight, not often you can truthfully pin a loss on one person.

I hope we can chalk this up to a bad game, not only for Vokoun, but for a number of players and coaches also.

Same here, but only had that feeling when we went up 2-0 and I thought to myself, well the Flyers have us right where they want us.

Games like this do not go on the goalie. Just like last year's playoff series wasn't on Fleury.

Many people don't know that name "Vokoun" in Czech actually means "he who cannot freeze rebounds".

the blame for both voracek goals in the 3rd should go on Vokoun.

he didnt play well BUT when you look at it the 4th goal should have been blown dead theres really no debate on that, he was laying on the puck what else can he do?
5th goal was pure luck i mean it was deflected off niskys stick
the last goal was awful just a back breaker

Every single account of the game I've heard indicated that it was a sloppy game and the Penguins looked lost. Sounds exactly like last year's series. I don't care if Vokoun let in a couple of bad goals, the loss is on the skaters. I can confidently say that without having seen it.

Black pads and all, minus the number, could have sworn Johnson was in net last night at times.

I mean, why is he just standing there watching the play happen on the Grossman goal? I can't even get upset, it's befuddling.
