I don't know if it's because he feels he has to be more responsible with a rookie on the ice, but he plays better D paired with Despres than with Nisky.

He's pretty good when he has to catch up with people. Maybe he should play wing and simply help out a lot on D.

I wish Bylsma could treat McGuire with the same disdain Gregg Popovich treats sideline reporters at NBA games.

That would require some confidence and offensive instincts, and, well...

Despres grabs the bull by the horns and will jump to the puck. Nisky sits and reacts. Letang is adjusting according,y and I think it helps everyone.

Hello, i missed the last 2 weeks and only saw gamecenter summaries today.

How well have Bennett and Jeffrey played? Saw them in some highlights, nice goal awareness and beauty pass from Cooke to Jeffrey, heard one comment that the line had played some good hockey. thanks, just curious.

I don't have a good feeling about this. An early lead that came too easily, icing the puck too much, giving up too many shots...

Hopefully, the Pens can tighten things up.

You're likely right, though Niskanen has done a very good job covering when Letang gets caught out of position too.

We're playing the only team scoring more than us. They are going to get shots. Depends on the quality and which Flower version plays the full game.

It seems like he's been injured more than not in his tenure with TB. I'd look it up, but I have a vodka drink to make.

Any time you have Kunitz-Crosby/Malkin-Neal it's going to be good. However, the lack of top-6 wing depth necessitates them being split up when both Crosby and Malkin are in the lineup.
