Any time you have Kunitz-Crosby/Malkin-Neal it's going to be good. However, the lack of top-6 wing depth necessitates them being split up when both Crosby and Malkin are in the lineup.
It works because Kunitz knows what to do and that is to create space and let the other 2 do their thing.
