One of the greatest throw ins of any Pens trade.
I disagree with those who think the Pens can't / won't re-sign him. As far as a bang for your buck Duper exceeds Kuhn, Cooke and TK(TK by light years)' He still has wheels and should be effective for several more years.

All credit to super - duper; i heard recently he was an undrafted NHL'er! I remember him as a wild player.

Of all the guys on the table, I hope we re-sign Duper. He'll have a case for making $3m, and almost, I'd give it to him; but really my ceiling would be 2 yrs $2.5 m per. Ideally, you pay him $1.5 per to play on the 3rd line. But his versatility and longevity on this team earn him extra. Still, I play the hometown discount card and try and get him under $2m. Maybe give him a 3rd year if he signs for 1.8 or less. He's definitely earned his keep.

Absolutely worth keeping. Remember he scored 25 goals last year. He kills penalties. Ge's great in the room. What's not to like with Duper? A whole lotta bang for the Pens bucks.

if Sid wants him re-signed RS will make it happen. Duper seems to know that the only reason he puts up the numbers that he does is because he plays with the best player in the world.

They should trade Malkin to make sure they have cap space for Da Dupa.
