If a guy is talented enough, he'll figure it out eventually. It doesn't seem as if he's talented enough.

I was thinking about getting season tickets, just to properly monitor things.

Even though the timing is off...can we call Eric Tangradi the last Generation X-er? It just feels right, at this point, for some reason...

Hopefully he gets on the same conditioning program as Ovechkin. Then he will explode....oh wait.....
The guy just can't play. There is no "putting it together", or "feeling comfortable" - unless that means feeling comfortable being too slow to keep up.
If they put him with Jason Chimera - he will look like he is going backwards.

No, no, no, that would mean he plays his butt off despite not making any real progress. He's just plain lazy.

I don't think we can call anyone we acquired in a season where we won the cup a Generation X-er.

Maybe he is what he is: a fringe NHLer that puts up numbers in the AHL.

He plays scared. Maybe that's from being mis-managed; maybe that's from Trevor Gilles. It's definitely partly his own fault. I think it'll take him getting waived / cut whatever to realize it's time to man up. And then he will. I still believe in a year or so he'll be carving out a niche as 2nd/3rd line tweener & PP specialist for an NHL team.

so his biggest successes have been as an over-age junior playing against 16 year olds who he was bigger, stronger, and more experienced than, and as a fringe NHL'er playing against AHL regulars. does that sum it up?
