That is definitely not a shutout. Too bad so sad.

How is it not a shutout. It is literally a shutout.

I don't know, this is the rule.
SO
Shutouts.
If two goaltenders combine for a shutout, neither receives credit for the shutout. Instead it is recorded as a team shutout.
If a regular season game is tied 0-0 at the end of overtime, both goaltenders are credited with a shutout, regardless of how many goals are scored in the shootout.

but yeah, i would assume whoever got credit for the win would get a shutout.

I don't think it would be a shutout to whoever got the win, but he had both goalies playing that combined for the shutout. To me he should get a shutout for that.

Definitionally/statistically. The other team was shutout. No goalie earned or is credited with a shutout as it is defined.
Edit: Typed this and didn't click submit and now there are a bunch of posts.

Every single minute of that shutout is accounted for by the goalies that he had starting yesterday.

Is that a rhetorical question?
I feel like it's a slippery slope when we start questioning the validity of the conversations on the board.

Why would we put it to vote if we aren't voting on anything?

I'm in favor of it being a shutout, i'm expecting that nothing will be changed though.

i personally think it should be a shutout as well. as idoit alluded to, i started both goalies, a shut out occurred.

Last time there was a 0-0 shootout, I recall just the winning goalie getting an SO.

Yes, same. Both goalies definitely get shutouts.
The amazing thing is when you own both goalies. Its like the unicorn of fantasy hockey. I think in the last 5 years or so when I have been really into keeper leagues I've seen it happen twice that the same team has owned both goalies in a 0-0 game.

That would be Epic. I think one time in back to back weeks I had Quick and Miller do it, but definitely never opponents. That would be the dream. That gives you a strong stranglehold of 3 categories in this league.

I don't suppose I should get a shutout for Theodore starting, making 1 save then getting injured?

Anyone have a consistent starting goalie they'd be willing to give up for a legit player like H Sedin or E Staal?

Did you have the goalie who came in next and did they continue the shut out?
