Great PP awareness? Huh? When did he show this? The only time I've seen him on the PP was the 5 on 3 he was out there for. He looked very uncomfortable out there. I'm glad he potted a goal but he couldn't have looked more out of place and tentative.

As far as the PP goes I'd let Nisky and Letang trade firing one timers and let the 3 forwards pick up the trash.

Letang has been beyond awful on the power play. Tonight would be a good time for him stop firing the puck into the defender's ankle three feet inside the blueline.

Smart move. Niskanen has excelled as the 2nd D on a powerplay, as well as being Letang's support guy. Letang and Martin have never played well together on the ice.

Niskanen will add a solid shot from the point tonight on the PP. Once this is established, we'll be able to have a little more room down low to force pucks out front and crash the crease.

As of now, teams don't fear anything from our points.

Those guys kept it simple because they couldn't afford to do anything pretty. Get puck; shoot puck.

With our defensemen, it's more like: get puck, fake one-timer, skate down sidewall backwards, then either a) take a wrist shot into defender, or b) spin-o-rama backhand saucer pass to middle of ice.
