They were one start off schedule so he started Vokoun against the Flyers.

Even if Vokoun plays well, this makes no sense. There's no justification for playing our backup tonite, particularly given Vokoun's recent struggles. In Montreal vs. a team that is 3 pts. ahead of you with a game in hand. What are you up to?

According to the clueless HNIC guys it was an easy decision to start Vokoun because he's always played very well there.

They need to give up on the idea of any kind of goaltending split. I'm not going to be one who blames it all on the goalie and ignores that the team is playing the most undisciplined, sloppy, mindless hockey ever. But Vokoun looks done. Fleury needs to be the horse. Play Vokoun enough so that you're not burning Fleury out. Otherwise, they're just going to have to pray that Fleury stays healthy because Vokoun apparently is going to be worthless. Buy out in the offseason and try again.

But really, Fleury's going to look awful too if this is how they're going to insist on playing. Hopefully they don't break him with their ineptitude in front of him like they did against Philly.
