I guess Tabata wants is looking good this spring. I think if he can win the right field job, the team is a lot better off, I don't agree with making Marte the leadoff hitter. Here's the lineup I would most like to see.
Assuming that either Marte or Tabata are the most liable to play themselves out of the lineup, Snider would be the first in.
Tabata getting back to his pre-2011 injury form would be huge. If he can bat around .275 again and has regained his speed, we could finally have a legitimate leadoff hitter, and Barmes would be the only real weak link in that lineup in my eyes. I know it's still really early but I find the fact that he came into ST in way better shape, has supposedly lost weight, and is showing hustle again to be extremely encouraging.
