In fact, I almost feel like the dude had to be lip syncing for much of the night, that is how good the vocals sounded. I only knew a handful of songs, but they definitely know how to handle a large stage. Great lighting. And I always have a soft spot for three piece bands.

Thanks! There are some really solid songs here that I can't believe waited this long to caress my ears and soul.
Somewhere,
Hear My Train a Comin',
Hey Gypsy Boy and
Villanova Junction Blues in particular.

If anyone is into Southern Rock/Country a band named Homemade Wine is playing at the Howlers Coyote Cafe on Liberty on Thursday night (3/7).
Worth checking out.

Everything I've heard so far is good, though I'm not crazy about the more funky songs where Jimi isn't doing the vocals. My favorite so far is "Hey Gypsy Boy". Just a great song.

I'm exactly the opposite; going to AIC, still looking at Soundgarden.

It's only Jimi's 12th posthumous album. That has to be some kind of record.

According to wiki, if you also include live releases and compilations, it's his 70th posthumous album.

csb/humblebrag time:
My roommate's new album has been the #1 selling blues album on Bandcamp for the past week as well as bouncing off and on the iTunes Blues top ten. Does this mean i'll finally get my rent on time?

Waxahatchee anyone? Should be right up Troy's alley. I'm undecided yet.
