For the first time in ~decade, I went to see a Razorbacks BB game (during the half-time, they honored his guy:

But the performance of the day: until yesterday, I haven't heard about this lady:

She performed *every* jump, flip, etc. the other cheerleaders did - unfreakingbelievable!

He really did age significantly. It seemed to me he moved slower, too (maybe not that surprising given that he is over 70 now).

I am really glad, though, that over the last several years the University finally reached to him to patch the relationship broken thanks to Frank Broyles.

They can't win on the road if their lives depended on it, but Razorbacks are so entertaining at home! I don't remember the last time Florida was down 25+...

Louisville-Notre Dame...5 overtimes...won by Notre Dame 104-101. Some of the sillyness that happened...

--Notre Dame was down 7 or 8 in the last minute of regulation (I had stopped paying attention). Jerian Grant scored 12 points in the final minute to personally send it to overtime.

--All this happened after Jack Cooley fouled out for ND with a little over 4 minutes to go in the game.

--Because of 3 foul-outs by ND players, Brey had to put in a guy, Garrick Sherman, who hadn't played in 4 of the last 6 games, including this one. He scored 17 points in the overtimes and had a wacky putback in the 4th OT to tie it.

--Louisville had the ball at the end of regulation and all 4 overtimes and only really had one decent look to win it. Then had it at the end of the 5th overtime and took a terrible shot. Russell Smith for Louisville will cost them in a NCAA Tournament game in March.

--Dick Vitale had to excuse himself to use the men's room in between the 3rd and 4th overtimes.

--Referee John Gaffney officiated the DePaul-Marquette game in Milwaukee earlier in the afternoon. Because one of the scheduled refs got snowed out in the Northeast, he was called in as a replacement. He certainly earned his pay.

How would you have liked to have been one of the people who left the arena when ND looked down & out in the last minute of regulation? At least they probably made it home in time to see the end.

Speaking of God Shammgod, I got me a copy of PC beating Duke in the tourney in 1997. Can't wait to watch it, last I saw it was live.

PC has been making a run lately, going to take running the table vs SJ, SH and at UConn then a couple in the BET to sniff the bubble, but they have clinched the bye on Day 1 and probably at least some postseason for the first time since '07. Liking Ed Cooley very much so far.

Unless there's a big upset vs Portland today, looks like Gonzaga will be #1 for the first time ever.

Wonder if this is the year a mid-major finally takes it.

Was that you on Dan Patrick Show today?

I know that there's still the MAC Tournament yet but shouldn't Ohio have been a little bit better than their record indicates based on what they had returning from last year's team?

All bets are off when one deals with the Most Athletic Confernce. OU was ranked in the top 25 for a little bit during the season

They can't hang with Akron. Okay maybe now they can, our point guard was arrested yesterday for accepting a package with 5 pounds of weed in it. We were ranked last week, but this is a killer.

Yep, sweet sixteen team returning everyone.. But their coach left for Illinois. Had a bigger impact than most thought it would have.

Big game tomorrow, PC can slide up the bubble watch with a win, while it's UConn's last game of the season due to sanctions, and their last game in the Big East. Go Friars!

Not that this is shocking news, but effective July 1st, the Catholic 7 of DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, St. John, Seton Hall and Villanova will officially split from the Big East to form their own conference. They will retain the name Big East while the current Big East will be renamed America 12.

Wow the conference that UConn, Cincinnati, and USF are going too is awful. Maybe even worse in football than basketball.
