USS Monitor sailors laid to rest

the article doesn't say... wonder since they are unknown if they will add to the Tomb of the Unknown or if they will have their own marker specific to the Monitor?

I'm guessing the latter since I think they're burying the pair for all 16 sailors.

That is crazy. Perhaps they will bury them in the civil war tomb of the unknown soldier which IIRC is just a mass unknown grave.

They'll receive their own marker/tomb, marking those lost on the Monitor.

So the bodies were discovered in 2002. They've spent 10 years trying to identify them? That seems a bit long.
