It hasn't scored today, but the PP has been less obnoxious than in past games.

I think Nash did that just to see where the bar is with this crew.

But maybe the 3rd.

Certainly.
But those are two very different rationales for said mythical move.

Isn't the rationale to make the team better? I don't see how adding a leader, veteran, and top-line talent doesn't accomplish that. I personally don't think he's worth mortgaging the future for, but he would probably make the current team better.

Agreed. They re getting estsblished and moving the puck well.

Also, is it just me or does Niskanen get like 99% of his shots through? It seems like every time he shoots one it's eitheron nnet or gets behind the goal line.

 fair enough. I was confused cause I didn't see him doing anything "dirty" but its something I hate when people claim certain players are dirty as if no one else is.

Now that we have approval to critique the officiating I'll have to ask how that trip wasn't called.

Really liking this game. Keeping it simple again and playing some conscientious team D all-around in another game. This is WINNING hockey.

Refs need to realize that their job is to call penalties and enforce the rules, not to control the flow or the the competition of a game.

but hey, it's been going on forever in the nhl

Will they ever fix it? Not like a hack team like the Penguins could use some good ice.

Should have thrown the :pop: on that. Just being a smart*** because the Pittsburgh feed is talking this up.

Good looking out though. :fist:
