Other than The Funeral and Knock Knock (see previous links), which are probably their best-known songs to date, here are a few of my faves (hard to limit it to these, but this will give you a good idea):

Sxsw is a hella good time. By going and not dropping the grand for a badge and getting out of the spring break type drinking scene at night I got to see basically as much as I could want to see. Tons of free booze and music all over. Really happy I got to see the thermals, wavves, Mac demarco, parquet courts and Metz. A lot of the bands were complaining about how corporate it all is, which it definitely is cause all the magazines throw these parties and showcases with corporate sponsors, all it does is allows people to get loaded all day and watch free concerts. Not sure why they need to gripe on stage about it all the time.

My sister-in-law went to high school with the lead singer of BoH. They're now based near Charleston, SC. Like Hootie and the Blowfish.

Listening to 102.1 Edge in Toronto since I'm tired of listening to the X's STP lovefest. I think I heard that Radioactive song 4x in the last 6 hrs.

Never mind about Mayhem Festival this year. Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Amon Amarth, Machine Head, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Job For A Cowboy, Emmure, Born of Osris, Motionless In White, Butcher Babies, Battlecross, Huntress, Thrown Into Exile, and City In The Sea.

Id never pay to see this.

Have already seen Zombie, who has a good stage show. But if you've heard 4-5 of his songs, you've heard the entire catalog.

Would be semi-interested in Machine Head and Mastodon, but probably not at a price that is advertised on the ticket. Even at $25 for lawn tickets (on sale 3/22-2/25 and I'm factoring a five spot for ticketmaster charges), I'm still not sure that's enough to get me through the gates.

I've seen Zombie at Ozzfest with no show, and Mayhem with the show. The show definitely is awesome but if you've seen one Zombie show you've seen them all. Now if he played more White Zombie songs.....

This was the only show that was on our radar that they were playing.

The line to get into that show was outrageous though. The one guy was all about trying to get into that cause of the food, but that line was daunting. Ended up going down the street to see the Thermals, Metz and Paws, which was awesome.

Thought I've heard of The Thermals before, but they weren't who I thought they were.

Not bad. Trying to think who they remind me of.

You might have, they've gone through some thick transformations. Started as a scuzzy lo fi punk band to a straight up punk band, now they seem to be more of a power pop style of punk.
