That could be in three years, five years, or whenever, but it will happen.
Apparently, no lessons learned from the lockout on how to treat fans.

Right now they figure they might as well squeeze every penny, and I can't say that I fault them for that. They are running a business.

Has the cap gone up 60% over the last 5 yrs?

Are people on the waiting list for a specific price level (like Upper Level End Zone, Double Attack), or are you just there for the next available seats? If you get called and then you do not want those seats, can you stay in your slot waiting for something different/less expensive, or do you go to the end of the line?

What does this season have to do with next?

I'm free market right winger...trust me. But, yes, it does leave a bad taste in your mouth...
Pens: "give us paid for arena"
Fans: "yeah, give em a paid for arena"
City gives em a paid for arena and parking concessions, etc...
Pens "ok...now bend over fans...SUCKERS!! (THREE 1ST RD PLAYOFF EXITS. AND 60% INCREASES LATER)

Don't like the product? Don't buy it.
Or consider you are paying a premium for the opportunity for playoff tickets for their next Cup run. Go and watch, or sell for a profit. Your choice. If neither is appealing to you, give up your season tickets. It's all free market.
