unblock us?

Postby Tico Rick on Thu Mar 21, 2013 8:43 am

Has anyone used it? Is it legit? Worthwhile? I'm thinking of trying out the free trial while outside of the country. Do I need to set it up while still in the states? Thanks!

That looks good, though I'm not as concerned about privacy and security as I am being able to watch NHL network and listen to Pandora while I'm outside of the country.

Cool, unblock is faster because it only uses unblock server bandwidth during authentication and then traffic goes back to your normal connection, but it's not a VPN.

BTW, I guess American expats already know this, but Hola Unblocker apparently knows how to get to many cool services outside of the home country (I haven't tried it yet):

Is this better than those free proxy server sites?

Because sometimes I use them to watch TSN / CBC (their stuff is generally Canada-only), but they can be hit or miss. I'm assuming for $5 a month, it just takes the guess work out of it? Pay for convenience, basically?

Free proxies don't even compare to a paid VPN tunnel. I watch gamecenter with my IP in Texas to watch pens games.
