The funny thing is Jagr is most definitely worth the $4.5 million on a one year deal, especially after his job making Giroux look so good. In hindsight, it's really quite shocking the Flyers didn't just give him the money. I guess they overstated the impact of one of the greatest players to ever lace them up.

I sure as heck hoped he'd have matured since 2001. If the price was a Guerin-like price, I would be ok with it. Much more than that, no thanks.
