I've already seen Zombie, FFDP, and Mastodon. Ironically enough all three at Mayhem.

"Jungle Revolution" features the whole of the extended Congo Natty family and was mixed with Adrian Sherwood. Clearly showing this Rasta's belief that Jungle is a re-boot of roots reggae for a new century, the record is full of blood and fire, the sternum-buzz of sub-bass, rapid fire drum breaks, sweet hooks, righteous anger and professions of religious fervour. It’s the kind of passionate, committed, raw and spiritual, beautiful record that doesn’t come along every day.

Jungle/D&B/Two-Step/Dub-Step/Whatever the hell it's being called these days isn't necessarily my thing, but this is well done.
Adrian Sherwood wins again, behind the mixing board.

I had my wife's car with SiriusXM this morning, and I heard this song:

I know Van Morrison isn't a top artist for the group ( ), and Van is someone I forget about in the pantheon of great artists.

I liked the song, couldn't find the album on Spotify or available anywhere for sale - because it is out of print!

I know it doesn't have Brown Eyed Girl or Moondance on it, but...this is a major album from an artist in his prime.

It has this song on it as well:

I'm just shocked that he has albums out of print.

I like to think I'm a Van Morrison fan, but I just checked and found out that I do not know his last 18 albums.

New albums from the Men and Wavves are both awesome in completely different ways. The new one from the Strokes is certainly better than the last one, not reall sure what they're going for, but they should probably just listen to their first two albums and ask themselves why they've completely distanced themselves from that sound/style.

The new Killswitch Engage is absolutely monstrous. This band lost me with everything after The End Of Heartache but this album basically erases the flaws of the last two albums. Jesse Leach is a beast and he's more pissed than ever.

Band got bogged down and ADD and self-titled were snoozefests. Howard singed about love/heartbreak waayyyy too much. He's a great vocalist but the band was getting REALLY stale with him. Jesse's a unique lyricist in the metal scene. I sincerely haven't had interest in seeing them live again for a solid 5-6 years until I saw them with Jesse on Trespass last summer, and they're back with a vengeance.

Howard vocal harmony was great. I just wonder is Jesse will stick around this time.

Is anyone interested in 2 or 4 tickets to the Green Day show tonight (Console)? I'm coming down with something and really don't feel up to going. I'd take $30/ticket, which is less than I paid.

Dear David Drainman,

Hey its FC44, so you just don't know when to stop do you? Yes, you "might" have had some popularity and what not. But you can't sing, your ego is like Scott from Creed and he was awful. Your noises and generic put on rock star attitude is as fake as a 3 dollar bill y'all. Just stop and go away.

Love FC44

I was such a huge fan of COB with their 3 first albums. Probably 3 of the best records of the last 10 years.. sounded as if Yngwie went thrash metal. Then they changed a bit too much for me and the singer/g. player (main guy) got too much of an ego.
