Oregon could legitimately go deep. I have them losing to Louisville next round, because I think that's a tough matchup, but they are a great team

Gonzaga is such a fraud. Shame that Pitt's got an empty suit for a coach.

Or Wichita State's just that good.

At least we have him until 2023.

I'm not sure what happened with the last 15 seconds of Marquette/Butler. Both teams saw their brains leak out of their heads.

I haven't seen the Zags save for their first round game this year. Nothing special for sure, but don't take it away from WSU... they are making it a game.

And this tournament gets less and less interesting (typical as it goes on, which is fine)

Two years in a row that relative unknowns have blown through Pitt... Good luck to the Shockers the rest of the way.

Shockers made an unbelievable number of 3s with Zags defenders in their face last night. I was surprised they only hit 50%, seemed more like 75%.

That and Gonzaga going like 4 for 20 early on really made the difference.

If FGSU wins today I'm getting a sweatshirt or something. Florida Gulf Coast vs San Diego State. Sounds like a game in early November that would have an attendance of about 582.

As a Butler fan, I listened to Brad Stevens on the postgame. They had two plays called in the huddle on the last play; one for man, and one for zone. Marquette changed who they put on the in bounds pass, and the players read that as zone, bit is was actually man. The play was to run Clarke around a screen into the corner and inbounds to Smith at the top of the key, and make a hand-off / screen to Kellen Dunham to take a potentially game winning 3. The pass was caught about 3-4 feet too high, and Smith's stumble threw off the timing of the play (plus the defense was man). After the stumble, the Smith heave was all that was left. Looked pretty ugly.
