If you're in the broadcasting booth and you witness something spectacular, it is your obligation to show enthusiasm when you describe it. If you can't handle that duty, you are a turd of a broadcaster. It's not as big of a deal in baseball, since "spectacular" is non-existent. But look no further than buck's call of "the helmet catch" to see why everyone hates him.

So you're saying that announcers need to tell viewers when something special happens in a game, and Joe Buck does't get exited enough when something special happens, and that makes it less special?
