Kovalchuck left the NJ game after toe picking himself shoulder first into the boards.

Buttman wants the Rangers in the playoffs.

And he thought keeping Nash on the ice was the answer?

Anyone else watch the "bash Ryan Miller" segment on HNIC last night? Me thinks they are just hoping he gets traded so the the Leafs, Habs, and Sens don't have to worry about him anymore.

Nash is at least involved. Gaborik and Richards are invisible for periods at times. I watched them play the other day, didn't notice Richards once so I checked the box score. He had like 8 minutes in the period. Invisible as fart and stink just as bad

Nash plays when he wants to, which isn't as often as you would think.

You're talking about Columbus Nash... He's not the same guy in NY, but getting the same results, unfortunately.

I disagree. Nash during the Pens game last week and Rick Nash against the Devils on the 19th were 2 completely different players.

He's still the same player. The only thing that's changed is the jersey.

Yeah, I saw that. To be honest, they have a point. Though none of them ever make it very well. Kevin Weekes is just an atta-boy, Glenn Healy is one of the worst hockey analysts on TV (he suggested that a team add veteran grinders like "Maxime Ouellet" last night...I can't even tell who he meant to say, that's bad...) and P.J. Stock is what happens when you hire a high schooler with what seems like no broadcasting experience to sit on a panel...

And the whole thing goes off the rails when Ron isn't there...no chin Friedman is a good insider, but he's no host...at least not yet...

But yeah, Ryan Miller's time in Buffalo is finished anyhow. He might just end up in Toronto...there's only so many markets that can be looking to house Ryan Miller right now...goalie market is flooded because no goalies are any good any more...maybe flooded isn't the word, maybe over-saturated with garbage water is better...

If you really NEED a goalie, now's a pretty good time to need it. Luongo, Miller, Bernier. Although, if your Tampa, your goalie is always destined to suck.

Tampa has weak defensive personnel, but they're aware of it. They'll get it figured out there and then they'll have good goaltending too, just like all the other teams with good defense...but yeah, you have your pick of the litter. If Buffalo is smart, they gotta get their ear to the ground, find out who is interested in Luongo and undersell them. It's gonna be tough if Luongo goes first, the market for Miller might be cut down by a sizable percentage...

The teams all in contention for the 7/8 spot in the East refuse to win. Rangers are going down the crapper. NJ better hope Brodeur doesn't so much as break a fingernail.

Reminded me a lot of the impact Malkin had in that Fla game.

I know what you're thinking... there HAS to be a Yakov Smirnoff joke somewhere in there. Well, my friends, I am pleased to inform you that indeed there is.

In Soviet Russia, boards hit you!

Mike Green gets his pocket picked and John Tavares pots it for the GWG. Isles beat Washington, 3-2 in regulation.
