We need admin to make a sticky thread titled why does Vitale sit. With response Glass and Adams work the PK like it or not.

Vitale gets scratched instead of Adams/Glass because they are put on the PK and he isn't. Simple and logical. Figures to be the same reason that Eaton will likely play over Despres once he's back up.

I agree with this, SportsYapper is more about social networking aggregation. I actually find LGP and similar forums far more valuable then meaningless loads of tweets/status updates getting pushed through.

Have we figured out why Glass plays on the PK, other than "someone has to kill penalties and Glass's name was pulled out of a hat"?

I feel so bad for the guy, but DB likes his vets, even if they do nothing. (Glass)

Let's hope Morrow's debut is a good one.

Glass hits people, it's kinda his whole purpose in being here.

I've yet to see him change the tempo of a game with his physical play. He's hardly a standout on a PK that ranks 21st in the league. I just don't see it.

Yes. I'm already on this site and twitter enough during games, throw in texts about it between my friends and im surprised I catch the game. Also, the Fan and Trib guys constantly tweeting that they are watching every single game ever on sports yapper annoys me .

Thanks, I already stated that I knew that, but is Glass really contributing? The PK is ranked 21st in the league and he's hardly a standout on the PK. The simple and logical reason that he's in there is because he's more of a veteran than Vitale, which is ridiculous.

One of our weaknesses is faceoffs. Vitale brings that, plus energy.

Kennedy in a fight. Not surprisingly, he punched as fast as he could without considering the quality of the punch.

That 21st PK ranking isn't telling the whole story. To start the year it was horrid. During the winning streak it's been nothing but stellar. I'd wager over the winning streak the PK is probably top 5 in the league and Glass whether you like it or not has been part of that turn around.

When Therrien was our coach I remember barely breaking 20 shots a game. Looks like he changed up the formula a bit.
