Nice feeling that we can still get wins in the midst of a "goal drought". Seeing as though they have won 4 of their last five with 2 or less goals. Impressive.

Geno will open teams up once he comes back.

Nice to win when you don't play all that well.

I will give props to DB for adjusting and fixing some of the things that were hurting us. However, his insistence to force Letang on to the PP and scratch Vitale leaves me puzzled. 33% while Letang was out has to say something.

But a win is a win is a win, is 13 in a row. So I"ll take it....and the Flyers losing makes it even better.

This team has played like garbage the past couple games. They need Malkin back because getting dominated in shots isn't going to hack it for very long.

These are the types of wins many of us have wanted to see for the last calendar year.. Hope it sticks and translates.

With the 13th win in a row, the Pens are currently #1 in the NHL!

DB could lead the team to a 81-1-0 season (gotta lose to a Florida team at least once, right?) and if he bows out in the 1st round, none of it would matter. I agree he's a phenomenal regular season coach, as his track record has proven. Let's see how he does when coaching adjustments are amplified. I will say that I don't think his coaching decisions will matter too much if Sid and Evgeni have anything to say about it.

Yeah, they've won without their best against the Isles, Flyers, Caps, and now the Habs. Having room for improvement is not a bad thing. In the meantime, another solid defensive effort.

Yeah, I wouldn't have automatically put Letang in there with the PP doing so well without him. I think Vitale was scratched so that they can give BB as much NHL experience as possible before they send him back down.

Possibly. Well at least Vitale should be playing when Bennett goes down.

Fleury will continue to be evaluated. More later after he gets evaluated. Nothing on length of injury, per #Pens coach Bylsma

Yeah, its been a really tough 13 game winning streak with your captain outscoring the league by an embarrassing margin... :scared:

Garbage...little overkill there. I'd rather see them play like this down the stretch than how they were playing pond hockey last year..

The team hasn't looked all that great, but the important thing is they are still winning games. That's the mark of an elite team.

Morrow looked pretty fair to midling tonight.
I hope he can get adjusted in the next few weeks.

The whole team did really. I wouldn't expect any new guys to come in and hit the ground running. Will take a week before any new acquisitions get the system down and get comfortable with new linemates.

He definitely didn't look too slow for DB's system as a lot of Stars fans were stating.

Murray on the other hand, well...I'm curious.

I thought Morrow had some really nice speed tonight during the game...at least in person. The team looked flat in the first. Fleury held the fort and Vokoun mopped up the rest. Hopefully, Fleury is fine.

Agreed, his speed looked decent on TV too. The way all these Stars fans were talking, it was like we acquired the forward equivalent of the USS Hal Gill.

Good, patient game against an unbearably boring team. They commit stick fouls all over the ice, but apparently the rulebook is just a set of suggestions.

The Pens would have had to open up if the Habs got the 1st one, but once Sid sniped that goal, I thought the Pens played a great defensive game despite the shots. Vokoun was excellent with his rebound control. Fleury was amazing in the first two.

1st period the team looked dead, and Fleury carried their water until they got their legs going.
