I'm simultaneously ok that I don't know what Birdemic is and curious about Birdemic 2.

BTW, during the event, there was some kind of notification that a "modified" version would be available at the site for awhile (like a month or more maybe, forget the exact date range), so if you check back, you might get to see some of it.

Eh. Thought it was ok. Left me wanting a bit more. Even though the run time was short, I felt like it could have benefited from an additional 10 minutes or so chopped out of about 3 particular scenes.

I watched and really liked Wreck it Ralph last night. I thought it was a neat story and the classic arcade/NES game references were awesome. I laughed a pretty good bit too.

I thought the bathroom humor and general demeanor of the racer girl character were too over the top though. If Walt heard a young girl speaking like that in one of his movies he'd roll over in his grave.

Just watched Looper. Really liked it. JGL was very good. Minimal involvement by Bruce Willis is the new minimal involvement by Jack Nicholson.

One beef though.
Spoiler:
Even if Willis kills the kids mom the Looper organization is done b/c Willis killed the guy heading it from the future and everyone associated with it. Which eliminates it from the future. That kid grows up effed up no matter what though b/c JGL killed Willis in that first cycle. Yet we already knew the loopers were being eliminated in the future from that other guy that tried to hide in his safe. The only solution was for the kid to die... Time to build diagrams out of straws.

Fourteen years old. Yeah, you need to watch the whole movie for the last 25 minutes to have the same impact.

Watched the whole thing and got value from a psa perspective as a parent of an 8 year-old girl. Whatever the fact/fiction blend, it reinvigorates the watchfulness and cynicism.

Seven Psychopaths. What a bunch of self inflated crap so far. I mean I liked it to the point where it became obvious he was writing the movie we were watching. Garbage, ruined it.

I really enjoyed Zero Dark Thirty....although, to echo what a previous person said, I didn't really understand the huge hype over Jessica Chastain's performance. I mean, she was good, but I didn't think she was anything out of the ordinary.

Spoiler:
The part where they are briefing Gandolfini (the DCI) and she goes "I'm the mother ****** that found the place....sir" might have been my least favorite part of the entire movie. It seemed like a lame attempt to make Maya's character like some kind of tough-girl, GI Jane type, even though we already knew she was.
