Where does Jarome Iginla fit ?

Postby Rugbymuffin on Thu Mar 28, 2013 11:43 am

Just asking, not complaining in the least.

Do the Penguins break up the ultra-hot 1st line ?

Do they put Morrow on the 3rd line ?

Personally ? Why not re-unite the the Malkin line from last year ?

I dunno. Thus the question.

Bump Dupuis down to the 3rd, Kennedy to the 4th, and Glass to the nachos.

Mario is so involved with helping cancer patients, he traded some players for a marrow transplant for some fans who needed it.

Marrow for some reason reminds me of Mallow from SMRPG.

I thought this originally, but I'm starting to think why break up the best line in hockey

1. Best line in hockey
2. Neal, Geno, and Iggy
3. Cooke Sutter Morrow

Thats INSANE....

Plenty of options whether it be moving Kunitz back with Malkin and Neal, or keeping things the way they are and bumping Morrow down.

Personally, I'd do the latter since Crosby/Kunitz should be together. This moves Kennedy to the fourth line. We have over 10 games to figure it out.

He fits anywhere. That's the best thing about Iggy. He is a complete player.

Agreed.

My opinion is if they are going to break up the 1st line, then do it.

Iginla to first line,Duper to 3rd,Morrow to 2nd.. TK to 4th.. Bennett to WBS! I would like to see Bennett play on 3rd line at least, but as 4th liner I rather not..

Kunitz-Crosby-Iginla
everyone else

seriously how do people think we traded for Iginla to play him with Brandon Sutter?! The Penguins will be willing to sacrifice a slight drop-off in the first line's stat line (temporarily). We finally get Crosby a winger, a future HHoFer, and we want to play him on the 3rd line. Kunitz and Crosby could have a trash can playing on the right side of their line and it would still be the best line in the NHL. Crosby is dominating. Dupuis definitely brings a nice element to that line (hard worker, speed), but he is simply reaping the benefits of playing with the best player in the world. Breaking up the first line not only improves that line in the long run, but makes our 3rd line 10X more defensively responsible, quicker, and more dangerous offensively.

Kunitz-Crosby-Iginla
Morrow-Malkin-Neal
Cooke-Sutter-Dupuis
Kennedy-Adams-Vitale

Would like to see Bennett come back when rosters expand and put him on the 3rd line and move Cooke to the 4th in place of Kennedy.

Well... Bylsma just said he has no inkling to break up the Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis line...

So I'm guessing

The greatest part about this is that Iginla may not even be a 1st liner :scared:

If Disco plays Iginla with anyone but Crosby I will be very disappointed. I don't care if Dupuis or Kunitz scores a hat trick in every single game leading up to the playoffs I just want to see Sid play with a real top line forward again for at least a few games.
