Injuries to Martin and now Sid aren't anything to celebrate, but this has been the best month of hockey the Pens have played in a very LONG time. I know, I know, it's not the playoffs yet, but I don't watch every Pens' game just to wait around for the post-season. If the playoffs were the only thing that mattered, I'd just watch something else all these days and then tune-in later when the playoffs started and drug into the summer.
I appreciate a team busting its butts to win regular season games that I pay to watch or that fans pay a lot of money to attend.
I agree with this. The good thing about the streak is that hardly any of these wins have come easy. In fact, only the Jets game comes to mind. The injuries and trades have given everyone challenges, and the team responded.
