Turning Cena heel would certainly make his character interesting again, that being said I don't think they have the balls to do it.

Could The Shield use another person? Sure, why not, but John Cena is not that person. I'm not sure he could cut a convincing enough promo a la '96 Hogan to say why he's joining The Shield.

That being said, a heel turn would do wonders for his character right now. I'm not even talking Thuganomics-era Cena, but there has to be a way to turn him because of him being "bothered by the fans" who have quit on him.

I feel like Cena is pretty talented on the mic. That was showcased last year when he first feuded with The Rock he cut deep with some of that stuff like the writing notes on his hand thing. Cena could cut a sick heel promo if he wanted to. Break down his "hustle, loyalty, respect" motto and throw it all away, he'd get major heat fast.

I feel like the t-shirt thing is totally overrated. Historically, heel shirts sell. Look at how many people had nWo or Austin 3:16 shirts. Make it interesting, and it'll sell.

Actually you what would be good? Cena interferes in the triple tag match of The Shield on behalf of the Shield and turns right there, wins the belt as a heel and celebrates with the Shield to the hail of boos sure to follow.

is it just me, or is del rio's fake mexican accent voice more offensive to mexicans than swagger's character doing fake character stuff?

edit:and yes, i know he's actually mexican. but he does not speak with such a heavy accent IRL

Do the people who boo Cena want a heel change so badly that they'd cheer it?

I wish Jericho would commit to a longer spell on WWE so that he could get back into good matches. He's my favorite wrestler but I have no interest in seeing him wrestle Fandango.
