Their HFBoard's current status is Chernobyl. I almost feel bad for them.
Is it as bad as LGP when the Pens didn't draft him? or worse?

Yea, there are still just as many questions with most of these players as before.

I did. I deleted the cookies then logged in again and the Kitty went away.

Tomorrow's going to be extremely dull.

The best place for him, by far, is with Malkin and Neal. I don't like the look of Iginla-Geno-Neal. They get chances and have produced, but I don't see an acceptance of roles. Too much scoring alpha, not enough deference. Morrow knows his place on that line. Geno and Neal have chemistry that shouldn't be **** with.
I think Iginla needs to be a clear option A or B when he's on the ice. It's still ingrained in his style and personality.
It's impossible not to like Shero's deals, but I'm a bit concerned about top-4 defensive D depth. I'm not down on Orpik like a lot of people are, but I think the Pens are counting on too much from him in a deep playoff run. I would like to have seen some insurance for Orpik.
Froggy wrote:top-4 defensive depth? is that a thing? We were missing arguably 3 of our top 4 guys. That would murder any team in the league. We are fine replacing our bottom pair, and our bottom pair can play 2nd pair in a pinch. that's all you can reasonably expect with half of our top 6 out.

I said top-4 defensive d depth. Pens could use someone who can step up and replace Orpik if need be. The transition D depth is exceptional, but the mobile, physical D depth is lacking IMO.
