Great episode...

Spoiler:
Great visuals with Roger's office - stark, plastic, sterile white with the earthy wooden shoe shine box. And like many men, has trouble morning for his mother, but not his shoe shine guy (probably both were combined, but it took the shine box to get him to open up)

I still want to punch Vincent Kartheiser in the face.

That was a really good episode last night. I have enjoyed the other episodes this year, but I think I laughed the most on this last one. That Natasha wasn't as great as some of the other people they have had, she struggled a bit, but it was still good.

Can't post a link atm, but apparently AMC is considering a Saul Goodman spinoff. Yes, please.

I'd be more interested in a Mike Ehrmantraut spinoff.

yes yes yes, this x1000. I just got through the first four episodes of season 5.

Spoiler:
When Gus died at the end of season 4, I thought things got to be a little too predictable with how it all went down, but oh well, I guess that's just me really getting into the show and seeing what's coming next.

I'm interested to see how the relationship between Walt and Sky is going to play out. She's currently trying her best to get the kids out of the house for fear that something bad will happen to them now that Walt is cooking again. I would imagine that at some point she'd just accept the way things are and just go with them. They're making money, Walt is "in charge" of his operation, they have a healthy baby girl to raise, I guess the Beneke thing really shook her up.

A Saul spinoff would be horrible. The character pushes annoying(fortunately staying on the good side of it) as it is with limited screen time.

Saul could carry a show better than Mike, I think.

I agree with Idoit. Saul is more of a caricature than a character, I don't really need more of him.

I wouldn't mind a Prequel sort of thing on how Mike got into business with Gus.

What would Saul be like.. the funny lawyer? He makes me laugh more than anything. Not sure that's enough to carry a show, though.

i assume you weren't into Mr Show? disliking odenkirk's character here and cross's character on arrested development is why i'd ask. i can see your points with both characters but i think since i liked Mr Show it helps me over-look their "over-the topness?".

Saul spinoff would be interesting, depending on how they did it. If it was a prequel situation where they delved into how he got to be a seedy lawyer and gave him more depth it could be very good.

I would also welcome a spin-off involving Mike. However, I am a huge fan of Saul. I don't know if his shtick would carry over well to a full show or not, but I certainly am intrigued by the idea.

I think the Saul spinoff is a "go" according to this article:

this week's New Girl (bachelorette party) was one of the better ones this season. And Mindy was good for a change, complete with a Clay Matthews cameo. (Haven't watched last Thursday's episodes yet though)

I did. The first episode was pretty interesting. Seems really weird for a network show though. I can't see it making it on NBC.
