Huh? Did you grow up on an Indian Native American Reservation?

Allergic? No. However, I am shamelessly afraid of them, and I will run away flailing like a girl if a bee works its way into my wheelhouse. I'm not afraid of honeybees though, I'll hold a flower while they pollinate it (kinky, amirite?). Anything bigger than that, or yellow jackets, and I can't stay still.

Bees aren't that scary, they aren't malicious. Scorpions are the stuff of nightmares on PEDs though.

Elderbug. Does it have a bit of red on it? They flock inside as well, but they generally aren't nearly as annoying as some other pests. Got them real bad on the windows in my other place though.

No Periplaneta americana sightings, after almost 5 months in my apartment.
That's a good sign, but I'm sure they will appear sooner than I want.

On the very warm day yesterday (it hit 89 degrees here), killed two stinkbugs and a wasp inside the house. I am pretty sure the wasps come down from the attic, despite my best efforts to seal the attic drop door (I never, EVER go up there).

That being said, it could always be worse. My sister-in-law's FB status (she lives near UPenn in Philly)

48 hours. 1 centipede. 5 cockroaches. Ants. An empty bag of tostitos and a whole lot of mouse poop in my pantry. And a landlord who needs to be convinced that this is an issue.

Yeah, figures I'd be hit with a biblical plague right before I get out of here for good.
