St Cloud would have really benefited from having a player that stood out since they controlled the puck and play for most of the game and yet got beat by the short spurts that Quinnipiac mustered.

Yeah, the third wasn't all that exciting. I think that was a testament to Quinnipiac's ability to keep St. Cloud on the perimeter the entire game. Quinnipiac played a much more defensive third period (naturally, up 4-1), and St. Cloud continued to just possess the puck on the outside. Anytime they got a good look, Hartzell was there.
