unfortunately, MAF's stats won't get him one anytime soon, but he gets the Ws which is all we should care about

Bobrovsky's to lose, IMO.

Flower's stats don't represent how well he has played this season. A lot of the goals were plainly not his fault but the defense leaving him out to dry.

Agreed, though it would be nice to see Fleury get a nomination.

The only drawback for Bobrovsky could be the thing that would make Fleury a candidate: Wins and Losses (though the Blue Jackets have been winning more, his record isn't really up there with the leaders. Not Top 10 in wins).

Plus if the Blue Jackets miss out on the playoffs, how willing would voters be to give a non-playoff goalie the Vezina?

Fleury is 21-6-0 not 21-4-0. There's a pretty big difference there in terms of its impact on the strength of your argument.

One of the two schmucks from Chicago will end up winning it.

They will definitely win the award for best goaltending tandem. But Vezina, not so sure.

Race is between Bob, Tuuka and Henrik. Fleury no chance.

This really has nothing to do with Fleury or the Vienza, but tonight Errey mentioned Dupuis as a candidate for the Selke and Lady Bind, and I couldn't agree more..

If Columbus can get into the playoffs and the NYR manage to drop out, we could eliminate almost all of the a-hole opposing fans in one swoop.

Ottawa could actually still give them a run at it. Not sure what min games played will be in the shortened season to be included on the trophy for Anderson and Lehner.

I can see Dupuis nominated for the Selke and Sutter for the Byng.

Fluery doesn't play on enough of a defensive minded team to win the Vezina. I think Bob, Rask, and maybe a dark horse like Schneider or Emery will be in the running.

I only took notice off one important stat on that page and that is the first column: Games Played.

Flower is only one in top 10 in wins under 30 games played and one of two under 30 games started (but the fewest).

I think this is huge. Thanks Shero and thanks Vokoun.

I agree. Realistically, if you stuck Fleury in goal for Boston he'd probably have about the same numbers as Rask (1.99 GAA, .929 sv%)... maybe even better, who knows?
