Nice in theory, but somehow I don't think China will be on board with that just yet.

It's unfortunate that we will need to wait for them to actually do something in order to respond because of China.

uh, i was kidding.

my company does some business with south korea, so i have some email contacts with a few folks over there. these people have no special "insider" information and are just finance plugs like myself. their take on this whole situation over the past few weeks has been very calm tho. they seem to feel this is just part of normal life next door to the hermit kingdom and that china can resolve this behind the scenes by just upping some food shipments. there is no panic in seoul what so ever.

El oh el... yes, please equate North Korea 2013 with USA 1945

that wasn't my point. my point was the U.S. bombs more countries around the world than anyone else, why are we telling others what to do?

Because we want to maintain our dominance. I personally don't want to go back to living in stick huts and no internet.

I'm totally serious about not wanting to allow other nations to come into a power conflict with the US or laying down to take it in the rear

Today (it's currently April 15 in Korea) will likely be the day that something happens, if anything does occur. Celebration of Kim Il Sung's 101st birthday, always accompanied by a lot of military shows and such.
