you can't challenge for the big belt when you hold a little belt. Cesaro should be due for a main event push.
Froggy wrote:Cesaro is awesome. He can definitely hang in the ring with anyone on the roster, and he has a great foreign heel character (which i always love). I'm a big fan of his from what he did in the indies, and definitely think he could be one of the top tier guys in the WWE

i think this is a weird transition period where cena is the only real full time superstar left from the old guard. the good news is they have guys like Punk, Ziggler, Sheamus, Ryback (i guess), Del Rio, & Swagger in that main event picture, and guys like Cesaro, Barrett, the Sheild, and Daniel Bryan ready to take a step up (i know bryan WAS a champ, but I wouldn't consider him a current main eventer).
then, in a few years, you have some of these GREAT guys on NXT coming in like, Kassius Ohno, Adrian Neville, Luke Harper, & Sami Zayn (former El Generico)...
There is a LOT of potential both short term and long term. the problem is that they are too scared to steer away from cena, the rock, hhh, etc... to make an effort to show these newer guys as legitimate threats. It's frustrating, but I really can't wait for like another 3 years or so when CM Punk is the old guy still hanging around on the roster, and all this talent actually gets a chance to get on TV.
