RIP Frank Bank

Frank Bank, who played the sweet teenage nitwit Lumpy Rutherford on the 1950s-’60s hit sitcom “Leave It to Beaver,” died on Saturday in Los Angeles. He had celebrated his 71st birthday the day before.

Many people don't realize that Frank Bank was a bond broker after he stopped acting. He often joked to many that his name was perhaps a premonition that he would eventually be working in the financial realm, but I'm sure it surprised even he. RIP

fun fact: Rancho Mirage, CA, where he passed, is a little known neighborhood that has had some of the hollywood elite over the years. Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, etc

From what I read, he was a very successful broker and managed the portfolios of his former castmates.
